Common questions

How does the 1.5% ACH fee work?: We charge a flat 1.5% on payments that the GC routes through Construpilot via Stripe ACH. There is no percent-of-revenue marketplace fee. Direct payments outside the platform are not charged.
Are subcontractors really free?: Yes. The Sub Free tier covers everything a sub needs to bid, sign contracts, and receive payouts. Pro Sub at $79/mo only unlocks the optional Project Finance workspace for the sub.
How is Construpilot different from Procore?: Procore is enterprise-grade and priced for it ($375+/mo). Construpilot targets mid-market Florida commercial — leaner, cheaper, with a built-in subcontractor marketplace Procore doesn't have.
What about a trial?: Every new org starts on a 14-day trial of the Pro tier so you can experience the full product. You only enter billing details after the trial.
